It means being clear, focused, balanced in body, mind, and spirit, and aware that active participation in your own health and well-being contributes to your ability to be all that you can be. It means being passionate in all aspects of your life.
That passion and aliveness comes from the willingness to take risks, to be vulnerable and to trust the depth of your own intuition. As a successful home-based Simplexity Double-Diamond Executive in the Network Marketing Industry and as a Certified Firewalk Instructor, I witness on a regular basis individuals opening up their hearts, telling the truth about their fears, being vulnerable to the realm of possibilities available to them, and stepping out. When one chooses to do a home-based business, one enters into the profound realm of personal growth. You can only be successful when you know what you want, how to get it, and how to organize your life (spiritually, emotionally, and physically) to support that choice.
When you choose to use the Network Marketing Industry (also known as Multi-Level Marketing) as the vehicle from which to excel your home-based business, you also add the key benefits of quality time freedom not usually available with other self-employment opportunities. You get to build an unlimited organization of self-employed independent contractors that do not rely on you for employee income, yet you still get to work as a unified team. The key to a home-based Network Marketing business is that it really frees you up to discover what you are passionate about, and how that translates into contribution or community service to others.
My corporate business experience allowed me to get in touch with my love of working with groups of people, however, it was limited to the marketing and business subject matter at hand. I discovered the Firewalk experience as a way to bringing transformation into one’s life perspective...not just business. When I was introduced to the idea of Network Marketing three years ago, I was searching for a resolve to the immediate challenge of having to go through a divorce, become a single mother of two children without a viable alternative for income and the strong desire to be home with my children during this time of transition. Using the nutritional strength I received from eating Super Blue-Green Algae, with my desire to work with groups and to share the experience of the Firewalk training I received, coupled with the economic advantages of Network Marketing, I am now in the business of truly contributing to people’s lives in a variety of ways: from health and nutrition, to having quality time freedom with my children, family, a new loving relationship and an unlimited network of friends, to financial independence, to an overall enhanced lifestyle that truly reflects having time for the most important things in my life.
The Firewalk Ritual experience is an incredible training in surrender, focused intention and community support. Firewalking, an age old ritual rite of passage practiced in countries all over the world, is a ritual of personal power and healing. It taps into courage, strength, faith and trust that only miracles know---and yet it is as simple as taking four or five basic steps. It creates healing as it ignites a shift in consciousness or perception about our belief systems we operate from. It is a way of tapping into power far greater than ourselves--a power that reconnects us with the Spiritual knowing of life that we all carry deep in our hearts. It is a deep re-connection with the cycles and rhythms of life.
My Network Marketing involvement with Simplexity Super Blue-Green Algae, I feel, is the closest representation of our connection to Mother Nature I know (outside of our own physical monthly cycles). It models for us something very simple yet very profound---harmony with the elements to create strength and wisdom. I believe Firewalking operates from the same principle---harmony with the elements, such as fire, to create strength and wisdom. Firewalking is a wonderful metaphor that allows us to examine how we pull back from physical challenges and allow our perceived fears to rob us of our feminine perspective in which the world is so desperately needing. It is a metaphor for bringing the feminine principle of intuition and trust into public leadership roles that will evolve us into a softer compassionate and more caring way of living.
Firewalking reminds us of how important this physical plane is. In order to walk across hot burning embers, generally 1200 degrees, you have to be present 100% in your body, know exactly what you are feeling, and aware of all your faculties before taking that step; it means being connected. The place from which we (1) choose to nourish our physical bodies with powerful foods to help us to conduct our work, (2) to have a home-based business, and (3) to make a profound impact on the lives of many people, is the same connected place that allows us to walk across hot coals. That connection is a beautiful blend in energies of feminine trust with male action.
In my algae business and firewalking business I am grateful to witness the subtle yet profound changes someone experiences when they commit to accomplishing a task, to changing their way of being or living, to embracing their power through a simple choice like "I'll try the algae" or "I'm going to walk across the coals" or "I'm choosing to change my life circumstances." It is empowering and life enhancing for me.
Stepping into our power means yielding to the highest calling of who we are. It is to do what we came here to do in this lifetime and to help create the culture that supports and empowers others to do the same. I believe the algae provides me with the physical nourishment to do this. Firewalking is a physical practice, like meditation that allows me to take this physical strength into soulful and spiritual expression. The Network Marketing home-based business model provides me with unlimited potential for personal growth, quality time with key relationships in my life, and financial independence in relatively short timeframes.
Stepping into our power means yielding to that calling with balance, grace and ease, confronting my fears and considerations about life with the intention of spiritual growth and healing, regardless of the life situation I am confronted with...i.e., supporting someone in their algae experience, holding the space for empowering choices, or tending to my children’s needs.
I continue to offer the algae and firewalking experiences because it brings me joy and fuels my passion for making a difference---they model for my children the power of self-expression with Mother nature for physical nourishment and empowerment. I trust we will all discover our blend of joy and passion as we support and nourish our physical state of being and choose the work and life style that yields the highest expression of our joy.
