I’m really excited about the new name. As a long-time student of mathematics and complexity theory the term is not new to me, but applied to health and wellness, sheer genius! Frequent paradigm shifts have marked scientific thought through the ages—from classical laws to chaos theory and complexity theory. “Simplexity” refers to the tendency of a simpler order to emerge from complexity.
It’s like we are adopting it for the marketing world. And why not? Applied to health, Simplexity means a simple, user-friendly way to address people’s health and wellness needs based on understanding the complexity of what customers need and when.
People’s busy lives require simplicity. At the same time, complexity is increasing because the range of products is becoming so broad. In truth, health is simple. It shouldn't get more complicated as you delve down. I say simplify wherever possible. Simplexity takes the complexity of nature and makes things that work better for all of us.
Blue-green algae has had “simplexity” in its DNA since the beginning. Algae is the essence of the beautifully simple, and yet is highly functional and easy to use.
