For many people choosing a diet for better health is a confusing matter.  There is so much conflicting advice about what to eat—and why to eat it! As for finding good nutritional supplements—one look at the shelves with dozens of different types of supplements, each available in a dozen brands—and they pick up the nearest multivitamin and slink out the door!

Simplexity’s health model is simple. It illustrates and categorizes how nutrition affects and supports the body. When you understand how the body uses nutrients, and what the body needs in order to have strong health, you better understand how to support those needs. This helps to make your nutritional choices just a little easier.

Nutrition is often viewed only as the need for calories, and considers only the macronutrients—carbohydrates, fats and proteins—which provide those calories.

This is partly correct. We do need calories and it is important which nutrients we eat to get them. However the food we eat must provide more than protein, more than fats and carbohydrates, in order to meet the underlying needs of our cells. When one looks beyond calories, a deeper understanding of what is needed to nourish the body is found.

Simplexity’s nutritional model describes the body’s underlying nutritional needs as falling into three interrelated categories:

Superfood Nutrition: These are the foods that renew your cells.
Whole foods rich with a variety of usable micronutrients (vitamins, minerals, trace elements) Nourishes your cells and body.

Digestive Nutrition: This is how food is made usable for your cells.
Friendly bacteria and food enzymes which help turn macronutrients into energy for life Energizes your cells and body.
